In 1986 Miguel A. Ruiz released his first cassette on his own label Toracic Tapes. Since then he has remained active in the international network of underground electronic music. He has composed many solo albums in all formats, especially on cassette, under different names such as Funeral Souvenir, Exhaustor, Michel Des Airlines, Ventral Metaphor, Orfeon Gagarin, and his own: Miguel A. Ruiz. His first vinyl LP was "Encuentros en la Tercera Edad" (1991) produced by the German electronics master Asmus Tietchens on his label Hamburger Musikgesellschaft.
