Record Kicks is set to release "Another Shot Fired," the sophomore album from Dutch soul band The Tibbs, on November 20th. Recorded at Electric Monkeys in Amsterdam and produced by Paul Willemsen, the album was mastered in Nashville by Motown veteran Bob Holsen. Featuring new lead singer Roxanne Hartog, who wrote most of the lyrics, the album continues the classic soul traditions of labels like Stax and Motown, characterized by a tight band, exceptional production, and standout vocals.Opening with the energetic track "The Main Course," the album consists of 12 songs that showcase The Tibbs' vintage, gritty sound infused with rock and roll influences, evident in the bluesy "Mama Says" and the reggae-inflected title track. Hartog delivers passionate performances throughout the album, effortlessly blending her vocals with the band's unique garage soul style.Since their formation in 2012, The Tibbs have gained popularity for their innovative approach, combining soul classics with rare beat instrumentals.
