Martha High, a long-time collaborator of James Brown, pays tribute to the legendary "JB's Funky Divas" with her new album, "Tribute to My Soul Sisters", alongside the Japanese funk band Osaka Monaurail. Martha spent over 30 years with James Brown as his vocalist, stylist, and confidant. Inspired by conversations with DJ Pari in 2014, Martha felt it was time to honor the female singers who supported Brown on stage, such as Lyn Collins and Vicki Anderson.The album features 13 soulful tracks, including "Think (About It)" by Lyn Collins, "Mama's Got a Bag of Her Own" by Anna King, and Martha's own original "This Is My Story" with The Jewels.
