Rick Blair, the mastermind behind the band, would work for a time at the Brighton and Hove Community Resource Centre, just above The Vault, a crypt which was the headquarters of the local punk/squatter movement where many musicians would their equipment and rehearse. His connections with the scene would lead him to set up a record shop and an independent label, Attrix Records, home to this debut release -and only vinyl recording- by his own band.
