Ville Laihiala, known from the bands Sentenced and Poisonblack, has been working on S-TOOL's debut album "Tolerance 0". Compared to Laihiala's previous works, S-TOOL's sound is more straightforward and heavier. However, like his previous work, the songs are carried by Laihiala's extinctive way to play melodies and perfect timings. The band's three previous single releases have drawn the attention of the metal crowd. The releases have received good reviews from the media, and the hit single Hammering is still actively played on Radio Rock. The album was funded via GoFundMe, thanks to the fans generous donations. All together 5,000 was received through crowd funding, after which Radio Rock became interested in funding the new heavy metal band's project with a large budget. The album was licensed to Playground Music and next month the debut album will be released, and S-TOOL will start its massive tour. The band has been very grateful for all the support they have received from their fans. Laihiala wants to thank the fans and states as follows; " We are so humbled and want to thank everyone for their support and generous donations, as well as believing in our music. Without you there wouldn't be an album. After hard work that has been put to this album, it is now finally ready to be released!" In addition to Ville Laihiala, the band S-TOOL also consists of Sami Leppikangas and Kimmo Hiltunen who are known from the band Lullacry, as well as the drummer Aksu Hattu from the metal band Entwine. The origins of the name S-TOOL is from the word Severing Tool. Laihiala has previously compared their music to Pantera and Entombed, whom which the band looks up to.
