Formed in Long Island, New York, in 1992, Vision of Disorder blended hardcore stylings with the emerging metalcore scene of the time, to create a unique sound that earned widespread praise. After the release of the self-titled debut, the band toured on the Ozzfest of 1997. The song 'D.T.O.' was later covered by metalcore legends Eighteen Visions on their album '1996'. Follow up 'Imprint' featured Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo on the track 'By the River', but although the album was critically acclaimed the band struggled to capitalize.
