In 1997, compiling a Black Sabbath Tribute album with experimental rock, folk and electronic bands reinterpreting classic Sabbath songs seemed like a novel idea way before The Osbournes hit MTV screens all over the world. Now, with the Osbournes all over the place and the Sabbath re-union, "Everything Comes & Goes" offers a welcome break from all the preconceived ideas of Sabbath. Matmos composed their track whilst on tour with BJÖRK, Japanese noise legends Ruins simply sent in their track after having heard secondhand about the project and Curtis Harvey (REX, PULLMAN) formed a trio to record his version of "Changes".
