But it all came crashing down when Twilley's label head was implicated in a major payola scandal on the eve of the album's release, sinking Wild Dogs without a trace. If ever an artist and album deserved better, it's this one. The original Wild Dogs album has been remastered by Vic Anesini for its first-ever CD release. Nine bonus tracks not only double the disc's length but present Dwight's original demos for the album. Longtime Twilley art director Zox has uncovered never-before-seen photos from the original shoot, and power pop authority Ken Sharp contributes new liner notes based on 2022 interviews with Twilley & co.
