Originally released in 2007, Inventions for the New Season was Maserati's third album - and their first with new drummer, Jerry Fuchs (!!!, Turing Machine, LCD Soundsystem, The Juan Maclean). Fuchs' influence was immediately felt, pushing the tempos and helping the band shed much of its former self - saving only their trademark reverb and delay-drenched guitars.
