HINT HINT'S first long-player makes good on the promise made by hype surrounding the Northwest band since their first few shows and debut EP. Young Days is a dark and brainy record with jerking, quirky dance grooves soaked deep in paranoia. A fine new addition to the dance-punk craze, HINT HINT is a touch more sinister, a tad more heavy, and certainly more on-edge than many current new-wave & disco revivalists. The band's pummeling rhthyms, angling guitars, crashing synths, and ultra-urgent vocals put HINT HINT at the top of the Northwest New School heap.
