Such is the fate of much instrumental music- known without being recognized, and classified in the latest record shops as unclassifiable.Also Le Salon noir marks a new stage in the work of Jean-Philippe Goude This album marks the culmination of an encounter with a voice, that of countertenor Paulin Bündgen. The countertenor's tessitura has long interested the composer, who once worked with Gérard Lesne and Le Salon noir follows a commission by Paulin Bündgen for his own ensemble seven years ago - a work premiered at the Musée de Cluny in 2017, the album Hieros (Greek for " Sacred ") by Ensemble Céladon was released at the end of 2020 on the Fuga Libera label. - Jean-Philippe Goude is a French composer and artistic director born in 1951. - He has won several awards during his career, including the SACEM prize in 1991 and the film music prize in 2003. - Artistic Director of Renaud, with whom he worked on five albums, writing the instrumental theme for the song "Mistral Gagnant". - Member of the groups Weidorje and Magma (Zeuhl - Prog Rock) during the 70s - As well as film music, Jean-Philippe Goude is also known for his many commercials scores: SFR, Société Générale, Chanel n°5, France inter, Yves Saint Laurent, Citroën, La poste... 2CD in 6-panel digipak with 8-page booklet!
