Every once in a while, an artist takes a decisive step, sort of gears up and delivers an album that tells us who they"ve always been. On the new album "Flood", Vilma Flood has taken just such a step, distilling both her emotional expression, her songwriting and her musical arrangements into something that could be the big exclamation point of the year for anyone who falls for what feels real. Working with producer and songwriter Hampus Norén (Sara Parkman etc), Flood has developed her palette. On the album, sheer strings coexist with subtle synth melodies and dreamy plucking nylon-stringed guitars.
