With the release of their latest EP "One of the laziest takes", Cadavre de Schnaps underline their status as a grab bag of the Cologne indie scene. Rooted in 80s indie, art rock and punk, even after almost 10 years of existence, there is still no clear pattern into which one could categorize their music. What unites the latest songs more than genre influences is rather the cheerful, melancholic and intense vibe, which here more than ever comes across in organically flowing song structures.
